Welcome to the IPCA-Europe website.
IPCA-Europe helps Christian Prison Chaplains throughout Europe to connect with one another in order to deliver an effective and professional ministry to prisons. It also aims to support all Chaplains regardless of race, gender and religion.
Christian Chaplaincy is founded on the love and mercy of God for all women and men and in response to the teaching of Jesus:
“For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,
I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
I was naked and you gave me clothing,
I was sick and you took care of me,
I was in prison and you visited me.
Then the righteous will answer him... "Lord, when was it that we saw you in prison and visited you?" ...and the King will answer them: "Truly, I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family you did it to me."'

Prison Chaplaincy in Europe stands for justice, solidarity and reconciliation. Our faith is undergirded by the conviction that God will give us the strength, courage and compassion to perform this demanding work for the sake of those who need Him most of all.
